Technical precision with a natural aesthetic
This striking pavilion was conceived as a dedicated listening space, marrying technical precision with a warm, natural aesthetic. Nestled in a private Surrey estate and framed by lush gardens, the 150 sqm standalone structure is a “building within a building,” its double‑walled shell delivering professional‐studio acoustics while the generous glazing keeps it firmly connected to the landscape. A living green roof and vertical garden tie the building back into its natural setting, while flexible lighting and vast glass panes let occupants modulate mood from bright daylight to immersive evening listening.

Every technical system – lighting, audio‑visual, shading, heating, and fire safety – is fully integrated and concealed, so that function feels effortless. The pavilion adapts from focused listening room to relaxed lounge or even home office, its intelligent planning and long‑term durability ensuring it will inspire for years to come.

Custom joinery and minimal micro‑cement flooring form a quiet backdrop for the owner’s international art and artefact collection. Integrated mesh panels are back‑lit on adjustable tracks, spotlighting each piece exactly as desired. A suspended installation of 32 glass pendants creates a rippling‑water effect, adding kinetic drama to the carefully layered interior.
